I bought the first and second one the other day and I'm almost through with the first. I like it a lot. I just hope the second is as good as the first. I'm sure it will be, if the reviews are any indication.
 
Awesome! These games are incredibly fun!
I recently got into them as well (last November) ... Play Time has been limited though... I would love to put more time into these games

I'm pretty much as big as they come. ;)
Just something about them. Everything is so perfect. Uncharted 1 (IMO) is the worst, 3 is the best, 2 is just one fun ride. It's all about preference, though. Some people say they like 2 better than 3. Some people hate 3… eh.

Well, Drake's fortune is in the books. Now, on to among thieves. The showdown chapter wasn't as hard as I expected it to be. The chapter where Drake and Eddy had to fight off those creatures was much more difficult.

man... I WISH I HAD A LITTLE MORE TIME! :lol Too many good games came out this year and my back log of games is RIDICULOUS. I still haven't made it to Resistance 3... :(

I hear ya. Most of the games I got that RELEASED last year I've beaten. I only got a few. Not all the hyped up games like Skyrim, Batman, Saints Row, etc. I really need to grab Batman: AC very soon, though. :/
But I have about 35 games that are beatable and I INTEND to beat… that I haven't finished yet.

I really want to play the series myself but sadly I don't own a PS3, that's what I get for taking a chance on Microsoft, sacrificing exclusive games.

Would I be missing many vital plot points if I was to start with Uncharted 3? I really wanted to check out the series, but so much else on my gaming plate right now.

Not really. Each game is kind of standalone. But there are recurring characters and once in a while they'll reference something from the other two.

But you should be fine. You'll just know that the characters in 3 don't die in 1 and 2. :P
 
I knew sully wasn't dead in the first one. I'm just glad he didn't betray Drake. I didn't want him to be a villain.
