Is it really worth it?

I would say don't wait for PS3 because you can have the next ganereation now. But that is just my opinion. Personally, I don't really like a lot of the major games on PS (like MGS). That is why the 360 is better for me.

Yeah but when there's two more next gen systems still yet to be released there is a chance that the 360 isn't the best one for me. So Im not going to jump the gun just because the 360 came out first.

Nintendo may suprise us and make the best next gen console on the market, because of that controller system

I don't know about that controller. I'm used to the old two hander. How much can you control just using one hand on a controller? :-\

you have to admit that it would make for a new kind of gaming experience

Well I hope that they will still have you're standard two-handed controller as well.

I cannot see Nintendo taking the next generation. Not for any reason...but I just can't see them doing it. Everyone I know (in the real world) is either pro-Sony or pro-MS. I just think that Nintendo didn't do a good job this gen. Not that they didn't try, but some thing's they should have changed. The Capcom Five, they should have kept exclusively on Gamecube, considering third party support was already lacking.

Nintendo would be dominating right now. Had they, a little over a decade ago, not been so stubborn. Does anyone know what I'm referring too?

Yes but I dont think they care as much on being on top now than they did back then. I dont think that is their current goal. It might be their overall goal but they are just taking it one stop at a time. Nintendo has deep pockets too, so if anybody should experiment it's them.

But you didn't answer my question. :D Do you know what they did that has basically cost them not only millions since then but also domination in all aspects of the video game world. Name that blunder. :D

If by Playstation you mean that Sony wanted to help Nintendo develop a new system right after the Snes but wanted to go with a cd based system but Nintendo scoffed at it because they were afraid of piracy and the whole nine so Sony went ahead and separated themselves from nintendo and developed their own cd based system, the PS1, while Nintendo went ahead and made their cart based system, the N64, forever changing the landscape of video games....then YES! :D

Yes. I also made a topic about it in the PS1 forum if you want to check it out.

Cool, thanks for the heads up. I'll take a look. :)

Plus I guess we should get back on topic. :D
