Is the Wii worth the money?

I don't have one, but I haves seen other people playing them in stores...and if I were you, I would do it. I mean, it would be awesome if you had enough to get Twilight Princess. Is there someway you could get that? I mean, like how long before you could get a game?

Yes it is very much worth the price dude. I consider $250 not very much money for a vid console thats gonna keep me entertained for years to come. Very worth it

I say hold off. Unless you really need to play Zelda. Otherwise wait until more games come out. By then you should have more money also.

hold off until you can get a few games unless you think wii sports 1 player will satisfy your gaming needs for the mean time

Well, do what you want, but I say buy it now. You can always get games at a later time. With the demand for Wii's growing higher and higher with each day, it would be better to get it now. Oh and yes it is worth the money, with tax and all it ends up being around $270, rather than PS3's whopping $670.

wii offers a fun, engaging, family freindly experience.

while ps3 offers a gimmicky controller, good graphics, and games we've seen before many times.

now i think u know what im talking about.

I would wait until it has a lot more to offer, unless you're desperate to play Zelda. There's gonna much better games on the horizon for the Wii in the future, not to mention the Virtual Console games that will be available. I got mine for Christmas, so I'm not complaining. :p

I have come to the realization that the Wii is the worst system.  In fact I am selling mine off with the extras and 6 games I have.  This is not an easy system to control for kids.  I do not understand why they say that.  My kids find it easier to play the 360 or PS3 over this piece of *!

That's a bummer. I guess it's possible to please some people some of the time, but not everyone all of the time. :-\

Trust me, I have given it all I can and bought 6 games for them. They just seem to find it easier to use the PS3 or 360 controllers. The only games that work well with the remote for them are the Wii Sports. But, out of the 6 games I have bought, they cannot get the controller down on them. I mean they play them, but it is a battle sometimes.

I agree. Back when I was demoing some Wii games a lot of the kids didn't get it either.

The only must have is Legend of Zelda TTP :lol. I bought it 3 days after Xmas. The Virtual Console games will hold me until i can afford TTP for real.

Of course, I am middle class, only the finest games get into my collection, because I have so little money now.

Well, I got rid of Red Steel and got Zelda for the kids. Looks like I have a buyer for Spongebob, Tony Hawk Down Hill Jam, and Super Monkey Ball. Maybe I will keep the Wii if those games sell. Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz is the worst game ever!

:'( I quite like monkey ball, especially squash, though I've not beaten the cpu yet (come close 5-6 loads of times :D)

anyway yeah the wii is great, some games might be confusing but its relatively new technology but the games will get better
