Does anyone know if a second player can also play a online game with you on ps2
if its possible what game?
I dont think there is any game that features this, because your already playing with tons of people online as it is so isn't that better than having a 2nd player? Anyways, I doubt that there is a game like that for PS2, for any console matter of fact. I should know because I play all the time online with my PS2.

Btw, Welcome to the board! :D

I might have missed something, but can't you pay Halo 2 with 4 people on one system online? I know you can, because I have, but is that what you guys are talking about? I thought you could also play Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow with more than one person on each console. I don't know of any for the PS2, but those games do exist on the Xbox.

Well I didn't know that about Halo 2 and Spilinter Cell, but he did ask a PS2 online question. ;)

Yup, 4 player Halo 2 on live. It's very real. You can't play ranked games, which makes sense, though.

There are multiple games on the xbox that you can use to play 2 people or more online on the same console at the same time. Halo 2 is a good example, and I know some sports games do the same thing.

:o I completely forgot sports games. 3 of my friends and I played NBA Live 2004 against some poor sap online. So if you're into sports games, you can play with 2 or more people online on a PS2.

Actually you can, if everyone has their own Live Account (and each XBOX can hold up to 7 XBL accounts). It's only if you have Guests that you can't play ranked games.

Are you sure about that? Aren't any extra players just given the name of the Xbox Live account they're using with numbers added onto the end?

no, shes right, you can copy the live account from your xbox, take it to your buddies place and put it on his box, and then you each select a name and you can play ranked matches

No PS2 games with online capabilities allow 2 people to play online simultaneously. Only Xbox.

Penny Arcade stated that Xbox 2 is gonna have a web cam for it, so your GamerTag will have a picture by it, and I won't be surprised if its a penis.

PS3 however is gonna have plenty of speed to be able to run the 2 to 4 players online for plenty of games, but you gotta wait. As for now, get out your single player fetishes while you can, until all games are completely online.
