Katamari Damacy is SO addictive!

Last night my roommate and I played Katamari Damacy for hours. It was so much fun! We played against each other and we also co-oped on the single player by taking turns on levels.

The best part is when your katamari gets big enough to roll people into it. :lol

Right now we're stuck on Star 7. You have 8 minutes to roll your katamari up to 6 meters big but when you start out, the biggest thing you can pick up is a bunch of bananas, so it takes a while to pick up the big stuff.

We tried out the 2 player competition, which is also fun. Basically you compete to see who can roll the biggest katamari in 3 minutes. It's funny when one player gets so big that they pick up the other player's katamari. :D

Anyway, this game at $20 is definitely a steal. If you can find it, pick it up!

Crap, now I want a PS2. And my job training doesn't start for another month. And the job itself doesn't start until December...

Nova, it gets even better the bigger the katamari is. You know you're really big when you can roll up houses into your ball! It's great!

There's so many fun challenges in Katamari Damacy.

One of my favorites is when you're trying to recreate the Pisces constellation. As Pisces are fish, the whole level consists of you trying to pick up as many fish as you can. It's pretty cool. You start out only being able to pick up salmon and by the time you get to the end of the time limit, you're big enough to pick up swordfish and large sea turtles.

In another one, Virgo, the goal is to pick up as many woman in your katamari as possible. It's hilarious.

Sorry, I had to go play more of it.

I can't really say something that hasn't been said yet. This game is great, and the feeling of growing bigger and bigger is one of the best game fellings ever.

Sorry about replying to this topic so late but my friend has this game! He's so addicted to it and wants me to buy it. Me, myself I think its a cool and akward game and has its own genre. Its really funny that you can roll people on the ball and watch them struggle to get away. Oh, my friend beat the game by the way, I dont know how but he did. :D

Well, still no news on whether or not we're gonna get this. It sucks, why do we miss out so much? European people are people too! :( I want these games! *goes on a Sony of Europe witchhunt*

I'd say that this game is only good for rental cause you'd be just wasting your money if you purchased this. IMO.

Why? It's only 20 bucks and I just want to keep playing it...
Well go ahead then, its your money! Im just trying to save you the money so you can go and buy the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game. jk lol :lol

I bought this game tonight cuz I happened to have an old $20 gift card for Best Buy, so I figured what the hell. Its a fun little game and its quite addictive...but jeez its short, I beat the game in only a few hours. Granted theres still little stuff to find like all the presents...and the two player mode is very fun as well...but they really should have made it longer.
