Kaz Is In A Pickle

You may have noticed that I made a post the other night about winning $20 on a sports bet.

Much to my chagrin the guy that owes me the scratch is duckin' me and won't pay.The 1st problem is he's a fellow member of my chess club.The second problem is that I only know of 1 effective way to get paid.I'm no tough guy,but it's the principle of the thing.

he hasn't shown his face at the club lately,he won't return my calls either.I know it's only $20 but like I said,it's the principle.I'm not a mean person,but I am certainly inclined to get a little rough and go visit him at his house.

I don't want to do it because if I lose my cool and hit him,I could end up in court,and that's the last thing I want.I don't want to lose any respect from the other members by being violent.I Have The "Little Angel On My Left Shoulder" And The "Devil On My Right Shoulder" situation happening.The Little devil is saying beat him down and make a point,the little angel says I just got a cheap lesson in being more careful about who you make bets with.

Anyone have any advice?

Yeah, don't beat him down. That's the worst thing you could do. Sorry dude, but you may be out of $20. It's not worth get arrested for. Just let it go.

Well if you have a job, its just 20$. If you didnt have a job, well, he will probably just always feel guilty and eventually pay up. Its hard to forget when one owes money to someone else.

Don't bet on sports, problem solved.

Thank you for the compliment x2.You guys are right.It's not like it's big money.I guess it would be different if it was like $1,000 or more.

Even considering getting violent over a $20 bet is silly.

Maybe he won't return your calls because you're calling him specifically about owing him money.

Either way, the whole thing is unnecessary.
