Kaz' List Of The Top 10 Best Games Played

wow this is so hard, i think about it and then i think of something else that i acutally prefer over it.

i do know my top three would be

1. ff9
2. okami
3. shadow of the collousus

ill have to get back to you on the other 7 lol
 
Not in any real order, and these were just the ones I thought of first.

1. GTAIV (Amazing. Immersive, great story, fun single and multiplayer, and lengthy to boot_
2. Halo (Favorite FPS game of all time. Amazing LAN game, great single player and co-op gameplay too. I could literally never get bored of this game)
3. Halo 2 (Amazing multiplayer, nuff said.)
4. Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour (Had to get an RTS on the list. Love the balance of this game. Lacking a good single player, but who cares?)
5. Super Mario RPG (Love this game to death, really hoping a true sequel comes out. Fun, funny, and charming)
6. Yoshi's Island (amazing platformer, easily the best the SNES ever saw, which is saying a LOT)
7. Crackdown (Insane co-op fun)
8. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (Best stealth action game ever, great single player, great multiplayer, amazing co-op that wasn't just tacked on)
9. Team Fortress 2 (Love it. No more to say)
10. Left 4 Dead (Amazing memories, great gameplay)
 
Generals in general was the best C&C.

Now for my real top 10, some of you may notice some changes.

1. Metal Gear Solid
2. Metal Gear Solid 4
3. Final Fantasy VIII
4. Tales of Symphonia
5. Tales of the Abyss
6. Resident Evil Code Veronica
7. Megaman X2
8. KoToR
9. Deus Ex
10. Quake 3/Quake Live

Hi Fr0dus.
I noticed that "FF VIII" is one of your picks.Let me ask you.Is there any point in the game where it drops a hint about getting the GF Tonberry?I know from reading a guide once that you must defeat 20 or so Tonberry's out in the front of the Centra ruins in order for the GF Tonberry to appear.How can someone be expected to know that without using a guide?

You really don't. When you do face the Tonberries do so with Diablos and Demis. Makes the whole thing alot easier. Also after you acquire a certain vehicle make sure you stay where you are and keep on fighting Cactuars.

Yeah, people always rag on Generals for not being a "true" CnC and having a weak single player. It may not be connected to the other games, and it may not have the best story or campaign, but CnC is a multiplayer series and it always has been. It was well balanced, had a lot of variety (12 factions in Zero Hour, each with a distinctly different playstyle required). Love that game.
