Kid Icarus for Wii revealed?

hehehehe XD looks like someone needs to bow down to me.... if this is true (wich i hope it is) becuase it would be an awesome game

I'm sure Fr0dus will be here to pee everywhere soon. :lol

This really doesn't mean much to me, to be honest. I've never even played Kid Icarus or its sequel. I will probably wait to see the reviews and general reception of the game before deciding whether or not to buy it.

Ignore the sequel if you can, it dumbed down the difficulty by having the screen follow you if you fall. Get the first off VC, though.

I just don't see a game with Pit as the main character translating very well onto the Wii. You can make up the fact that I hate Nintendo franchises or give me a hard time..but I just see it getting a ton of hype, and being a big let down. Besides how corny Pit is with everything he says, I just don't know. Then again, Nintendo made an Italian plummer an icon, so you never know. I'll wait to hear details on this.

Pit never speaks outside of Brawl. At least, not with a voice. At least play the game before you comment on it. Unless saying "I'm finished!/I...can't...lose..."(text only) when he dies is corny. :/

well i guess you should play the first game before even trying to think about the third....but then again you've only seen pit on brawl (wich is not in all his glory) so i wouldn't blame you for that (his text is corny on brawl XD)

I don't think they'll change him too much from Brawl. They're not gonna make him serious. I promise you that.

Ah, but this is something you do on a regular basis. I just don't see this game being that good...I never said it won't be.

Based on...?

Have you played either of the first two for long enough?

Based on the fact that it's Nintendo. They're not gonna try anything too risky.

Do you think this will be remotely close to the same game play as the first two?

wohooo hold on a seccond....nintendo can do pretty weird stuff that might suprise some people (making radiant dawn the hardest fire emblem ever and advance wars days of ruin being a more serious game) so don't take nintendo for granted

So the non-canon game is less risky than the first two games in the franchise, ok.

Yes, are you able to explain why you think it won't be?

But as Stealth once stated, that's about as risky as Nintendo will get.

The non-canon? Um...yeah. I don't get it..but cool.

Because it will probably be 3-D allowing you to fly and use waggle functions.

how about making phantom hourglass touch screen only and making disaster day of crisis? heck even making 2-D series to 3-D is a big risk that they were willing to take and it succeded in every single of their franchises

ehem ok ok every single of their franchise that "came out in 3-D was succesful"

But they didn't have their first try at 3-D on the Wii with waggle. I just don't think it will be good. Nuff said.

heck still metroid prime and mario galaxy were extremely good even with the "waggle" and who said the waggle is a bad thing anyway? is not like is the whole point of the game... nintendo has so far been able to maintain balance between waggle and deep gameplay (except for wiiplay)
