Wait, you're telling me the ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS crew came back from the dead for PSN and XBLA!? O.O!!!!!!!! *SQUEEL*!!!!!!!!!!

Yet judging from the screen shots...this looks like a 2D overhead version of Left 4 Dead...still...Zombies are zombies :)
 
Konami's given a release date to its top-down undead blast-o-thon Zombie Apocalypse, and it's next week! Xbox Live users get the title Sept. 23, or Thursday. PlayStation Network users will see it Friday, Sept. 24.

The game is $9.99 on PSN, 800 Microsoft points on XBL. For your ten bones, you get 55 levels and 11 weapons, not including the wood chippers into which you can lure your shambling, leprous prey. The game also features cooperative online play. If you'd like to know more, check out our preview.

It seems like there is alot of zombie related stuff coming out right now aside from this there is Undead Knights coming out soon for psp and RE game for the psp.
 
Konami did it again.

If you loved, "Zombie Ate My Neighbors" from the Genesis/SNES, Left 4 Dead, and Smash TV. You will love this game, the demo appeared this morning on XBLA, it's a sure-"flame thrower" winnner with chainsaws.
