Yes, you read that right. Lego Halo.

There's a preview for it in the new issue of EGM. Undoubtedly their best April Fool's ever! :lol

According to the article (totally fake, btw).

Lego Halo is actually being made by Bungie, and the projected release date is Fall 2008.

Some highlights:

Like Lego Star Wars, you'll play as multiple characters during the campaign. Master Chief will no doubt be the main brick breaker, but also expect to see Avery J. Johnson, the Arbiter, and even Chief's main virtual squeeze, Cortana. Just because Lego Halo chronicles the first three games, however, doesn't mean new characters won't be introduced.
 
Yeah, it actually had me for a bit, and then I was like, "....wait a second. What month is this issue?" Look at the spine, and sure enough, April 2008. :lol But seriously, it's even better than last year's Mushroom Kingdom Hearts joke!
 
Haha, yea, EGM always does some pretty good Aprils fools jokes. Remember the Zelda pre-order deal? I can't remember exactly what it was, but me and a buddy both fell for it and he pre-ordered it. No wonder the guy at Gamestop had no idea what we were talking about :lol

OMG I saw this a couple days ago on Joystiq. I even told Mega before I finished it. I was like "LEGO FREAKIN HALO!...oh wait". :lol
 
The best one was when they photoshopped pictures of Sonic and Tales in SSB:M. I fell for that one, and it was not easy to recover from that fall.
 
It seems kinda sad to me when people fall for the stuff. I mean, I guess that is the object of April Fool's jokes, but I just don't like to see people get disappointed and stuff.

Oh man yea, that was so classic! I remember another good one that was pretty believable was the LOTR Kart Racing game. It was supposed to be like a Mario Kart but set in the LOTR world with LOTR characters and it looked really good actually :lol
 
LEGO Halo would be fun, just for seeing the LEGO Rings explode.
 
But the LEGO weapons...!! I love the LEGO weapons, they would probably have come up with some really awesome designs too! Maybe some day they will think about it. :D
 
My kids really wanted a Lego Halo. I know something was up when they said they are putting their pre-orders in at the 7-11.
