How was that lego star wars game? How were the controls? I have never played a lego game, and it looks cute. I was thinking of getting it. DOes anyone have it?
 
I believe it was around an 8 rating.... I've heard a lot of people say they like both games.

someday... I will personally buy them  as well :)

anyone else have more specifics?

You know, it may sound kiddy... but the first one was actually hard. Really difficult platforming at times. :) I suggest trying them both.

Well, which did you like better?

Difficult compared to like Mario Sunshine? Difficult because the controlling stunk, or what?

I saw the first lego star wars game at a game store used, but I had never read about if it was good or not.

I read some about the second one on Gamespot, but 40 bucks is a lot, if I don't know what the game is like.

Does it have a steep learning curve?

I purchased the first one today for $20. It was there, and I wanted to bulk up my Cube collection some more. I guess since that there are two, I'll buy the second one as soon as I find it used because $40 is too much for a game that I have never seen before.
 
personally I liked the first one better, some of the new features in the second just weren't enough
 
Well, I ripped open the packaging this afternoon and looked at the booklet. Looked gimmicky. But what game doesn't look gimmicky at first glance? I threw it in my platinum beauty and powered it up. My kids were glued to the TV, and I was having fun!! Great game...

Oh, good. We like playing games as a family, too.

As a matter of fact, my husband is replaying parts of Windwaker upstairs while the two oldest kids watch. I got sent to the basement/office with the three year old, though because she was up like ten times crying last night, from game induced and Angel Wars induced nightmares. Ha.

I think the Lego Star Wars games will be a little less scarry for her....

Well, one disapointment is that it's quite short. I am on Episode III already and have been playing a few minutes here, an hour there, etc, for about a week or so. I think my next time through I'll poke around and explore more.

Now, is the second one longer??

I heard on another site, that the first one is especially short, so I assume the second one is longer......
 
I just picked up the first LEgo Star Wars yesterday. Haven't seen much of it yet, but what I did see looked cool. I am glad I got it! :)

How do you like it if you do like it get the second one its one hundred times better. less jedi though :'( any way send me a message if you like it i can also recomnend kid games too! :lol

I like it. It is cool. Padme looks so chubby as a lego character though....ah, well.

And Anakin is like a humungously tall little kid.

You know what I love, the clone embyos in development. Where it is one or two lego pieces. Ha. :)
 
Had any problem with the game crashing when there's a lot of action/explosions on the screen? I've had this happen several times, as have others I talked to on another forum. Doesn't seem to be a problem with non-'Cube versions of the game.
 
Haven't played it for a while anyway. Completed 100% within a week. That game was fun, but waaaay too short!

BTW, have you tried the Santa codes? In the cantina, enter CL4U5H for the hat and clothes, then TYH319 for the beard, then assemble the parts in the custom character creator, and it's HO! HO! HO! time!
