Low Load Times on the Wii.

:lol ... low load times on the Wii.... :lol

They need to change Wii back to revolution!!!!

Anyway.... maybe Sartori can confirm this... My buddy stated something to this fact:
3 seconds for the system to start up.... game loading time is around 5 seconds.

Miyamoto stated that games are taking longer and longer to load.

So far, I am looking for a source to confirm this.

no... take a stop watch on games of every console.. they load and load. Some games aren't that bad though...

but it seems that they keep getting longer.

The rev games should only load around 5 seconds.  then you can play.  If Nintendo can pull that off...  it will be very cool.
Some pc games that I got within the last 2 years have some very crappy load times.  They are good games, but I get tired of waiting all the time just to play.

Well if they load up as fast as say Animal Crossing does than it will be just fine. :D
 
I haven't seen startup, but I've seen games reset and general utilization of games and it is FAST. It seems even marginally faster than GCN and GCN is the top notch dog for loading this generation. - Wii doesn't appear to even have loading...
 
Yeah AC is pretty fast. About 5 seconds after the GC Logo appears I'm already on the main screen loading my game.
 
I have a video of Mario Galaxy goin from the "WII" startup screen to gameplay and it's so fast. Want to watch it, Blue?
