I hit the X Button about 2 yards from the End Zone. They flip right in and land on their butts.
 
Do you hold the x button or tap it?

I ask because I have tried this with a wide receiver and nothing like that happened
 
Ok guys, I would like to take away my previous statement. I looked online and came across many other people with my complaints. They all told me to play around with the sliders on Game AI.
When I got home today I did just that and now I love the game. Its so much more realistic than it was before. Now the scores are actual scores that could happen. Defense is much better now. I really like the game!!!
 
I stayed up for a Madden party at EB the night before it was released and got my copy a day early. I started a franchise with the Lions, making awesome trades here and there. Best Madden I've ever played. The different animations for the 360 are amazing. I find myself watching replays on almost every play. Madden truly reigns supreme as usual with another great game to add to my collection. :)
 
I know, me and my two brothers started a franchise he day of launch and have been playing nearly every day. As of now I am 15-0 with the Panthers on all-Pro and I traded for Reggie Bush and Vince Young. Bush just broke the single season rushing record and Julius Peppers has over 50 sacks. One of my brothers is the Seahawks and he is also undefeated. So i'll see him in the NFC title game.

I started a franchise with my Lions. I traded to get (on defense) Brian Urlacher, Lavar Arrington, and Champ Bailey. On offense, I have Vince Young, Reggie Bush, and Braylon Edwards. :D
 
Theres no way you can get them with the Lions - theres no talent on that team

The Panthers are my 2nd favorite team so I started the franchise with them cuz they got loads of talent. My fav team is the Raiders and i started a franchise with them and made no trades. 1-0 so far but it was a very hard fought victory

No way I could get them? Sean Rogers, Mike Williams, Kevin Jones, Damien Woody 1-6 round picks are all gone cause of the trades.
 
Man it took me THREE 1st round draft picks to get Reggie Bush, but i was somehow lucky enough to get Vince Young for Jake Delhomme straight up...

then i trded my first round pick to the texans and got there first round pick straight up also... and they are 2-13 and have clinched last place... I dont know what position to draft first tho cuz my team is stacked everywhere

The round picks aren't gonna be worth much in Carolina cause they had a good year...so computer thinks they'd have another one...making the draft picks not worth much. You know?

As with what to get. I'd say go for a corner or strong safety
 
Well I got two young corners going to the Pro Bowl with 10 picks each... and I have a young back up SS but i dont know how much he will progress... I need a deent punter though, how funny would that be-

With the 1st overall pick in the 2007 draft, the Carolina Panthers select Joe Schmo, Punter :lol :lol :lol
