Manhunt...

New to the site, so I'm sorry if the topic was done before.

Manhunt for xbox was one of my favorite games. How would u all feel if they made one for the 360 ? Would it be a game u would buy, rent, or pass ? Personally, I think the game would be great and I'm hoping to see a 360 version of this game

As for your question... I never was a fan, but I don't see why they wouldn't. That is, unless the game sold less than expected. but I have no preference either way.

Anyone else wish there was a 360 version?

Oddly enough, we don't know why Manhunt 2 never set foot on 360. Yet it landed on Wii somehow?? Weird stuff, maybe a director's cut later in the future? Much like they did for Bully?

You know... now that you mention that, I remember Manhunt 2 coming out for the Wii... but I don't think I ever saw it in stores.

Maybe we should also make a manhunt 2 topic in the Wii section... I don't think we have a topic regarding that game in the Wii section.

The game is horrible BV. I'm telling you, whoever designed the control setup must have been on the same drugs as Ethan Thomas from Condemned 2. PS2 edition however was actually enjoyable. Shocking, but true.

Wii edition, you cannot skip the cut scenes if you screw up...and try to move the controls is difficult.

Manhunt 2 managed to work its way on to the wii, ps2 and psp but it will never get a 360 or ps3 release. The reason they put it on to those 3 consoles is because the graphics are as realist as the 360/ps3 would have been there isn't as much detail. They where allowed to release it because of the low quality rating, or something like that.
 
So true, but Aya, have you seen the Xbox edition of Manhunt 1? I had the chance to compare it to the PS2 edition. For some reason, the Xbox 1's graphic card made it REALLY shine, I don't know what they did, but if they put Manhunt 2 on 360 like that, it would have been superb!

maybe too superb.... it would have been a lot more disturbing if it looked too real >_>

i never really played the original on the xbox but i know about it. Like Zidart said that if it was on the xbox or ps3 it would be to disturbing, and i think that is the whole reason why they didnt.
 
Well the shadowing effects, the lighting, and 3D models on the Xbox 1 edition were very polished compared to the PS2 edition.

If they came out with Manhunt 2 on the 360, it will definitely spark controversy because of the more realistic looking death scenes. :-\ Even so, I still wouldn't mind seeing a Manhunt 2 on it.
