Travel back in time to the nineties and watch the Marvel cartoons they had on TV. Then play the awesome games made by Capcom.

Either that or if you like Marvel, Capcom, and fighting games you should already be excited

It's one of the most solid fighters ever, at least the past two were. And like what Snatcher said, you would have to be quite familiar with both franchises. But even if you aren't, it's still a fun fighter that's very frenetic and very fun to play with other people.

MVC2 was pretty broken. Infinites and always saw the same 3 teams.

As long as you don't play MvC 2 online and with some friends instead you never really have to worry about Infinites :P
So yeah, if you have friends who enjoy Marvel and Capcom you should have loads of fun :P

I've personally haven't encountered that problem, but then again, I haven't played as much as 1 and haven't played it from XBLA.
