MasterSystem has got a Wii and would like advice on what games to get.

Lol riiiiiight, since so many people are making their own ROM's. Give me a break. It's illegal to download ROM's which is exactly what 99% of people using ROM's do.

Edit: Sorry Snatcher not trying to get an attitude with you lol. I'm just against ROM's because people are using them for new games which is not helping the industry.

Some are real simple though, like with a Dreamcast I can just use an Ethernet cable and a Broadband modem to hook it up to a PC and copy my game to it. I would do it if I had a BB Modem for my DC since I have a lot of rare games for my DC and it would suck to lose them. Hell if I bought Radiant Silvergun first thing I'd do is buy a modchip and make a copy and only play the copy so my game would be fine.

Lol it's cool, I hate it when people pirate new games too, especially when it's games by smaller companies. although old games I don't get annoyed when people download those.

I make a back-up of every Wii game I buy, and install them to my external USB Hard drive. Since my Wii is modded I can play these back-up copies right off of the HDD and not ever have to worry about my kids (or myself for that matter) scratching them up, or wearing out the Wii's DVD drive using them. I never play the originals, they simply sit in a safe place in my entertainment center, where my 4 year old can't get them and ruin them. I have also made ISO images of certain rare PS1 and Dreamcast games that I own for the exact same purpose, so that my originals do not get ruined by everyday usage.

So yeah, people do make back ups of games they own, and do not download them. As for roms, yes Nintendo is notorious for spouting rhetoric against usage and downloading of them, however it is largely a gray area in most cases. Myself personally, I have owned every console and every game that I emulate on my Wii, so I do not see any harm what so ever. Once it has been paid for it is mine to do with as I see fit. I find it much more useful to have all my classic games on one console, especially with kids and limited space.

O.O wow nobody's even mentioned Okami yet. I <3 that game.

Let's please get this topic back on track please. I don't want to lock a perfectly good thread from mastersystem. :)

That's right, I forget Okami is on the Wii. That's truly a must have game! And yes, we got off topic, but it was actually a pretty darn informative conversation...but sorry none the less.

I tried playing it (Okami) a few months ago, and just couldn't get into it at all. Maybe it gets exponentially better after the first hour?
