I thought MGS2 was meh until I saw the ending. Then I played it again and loved it
Meh I only liked Splinter Cell 1 and Chaos Theory.

PT is the worst, and the xbox and xbox 360 versions of double agent are two totally different games by two totally different developers. two different storylines, even. i didnt like the 360 version at all, but loved the xbox version (its from the developer of chaos theory). i have them both, though.

i was explaining something about splinter cell, and why i like it more than mgs, just giving my insight
I played the original xbox version and I didn't like it that much. SP 1 was the best though even though Chaos Theory gave u more control I felt u barely had an opportunity to use the skills from SP1 like the Split Jump Hang.

i loved CT the best. but back to metal gear, i truly don't see why people like it so much.
The characters, acting, gameplay, music, story, need I go on?

IMO = characters are weird and uninteresting, story is unnecessarily confusing, combat gameplay (shooting ur gun) is broken and the graphics have an annoying foggy look

I dont really agree with you hines but all of those issues were promised to be adressed in MGS4

those issues are some you have to get used to, sleep on, learn about. You cant just go in and "play" it, you need to learn it
And if you play the original from the PSX you would see that it didnt have those problems.
