Okay, I'm looking for something in the vein of Rampage... I played a demo of War of the Monsters and it was okay, but, I know there are better games for the genre out there.

So, lemme have 'em... any worthwhile monster rampaging, bashing, destroying games you can think of for the psx/ps2!
 
Have you tried The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction? You play as Hulk and it has open-ended gameplay where you can smash pretty much everything and anything up, it has missions too.
