Most Underrated (EGA's VGA's 2008)

This game’s merits are obvious, its charm is evident, and its design is impeccable; at least to you. For one reason or another, critical acclaim and/or the public eye never quite reached this title, despite its noticeable pedigree. Evidence that supernatural forces beyond our control are at work on this planet, this game had a rogue invisibility buff active on it any time someone walked past it in a store, but when you walked by its Charisma shot up +10. The winner of this award will finally get the attention it deserves, which will come as great comfort to the now bankrupt and jobless designers, programmers, and artists who helped make it.

my vote goes to Valkyria chronicles because i think it deserves more praise than it ultimately gets

Valkyria get's my vote as well. As an RPG and then add on the stylized graphics, Valkyria get's tossed around by the consumers.

I must commend CyberConnect2 on their work for Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm. The game is definitely the Naruto title to get for this year 2008. The game graphically is a work of art on the PS3 and gets virtually 0 recognition elsewhere, although it was worthy enough to receive nominations in a few websites rankings.

I have to pick it because they manage to do what others have failed and that is delivering an experience that is virtually similar to the one on the shown. The major boss fights of the show with the massive boss fights spanning large scenes with integrated QUick Time Events, with a storyline following closely with the show and with the actual voice actors from the show, are virtually what any fan would want for a Naruto title. A large portion of the major cast is include, DLC is continuing well into 2009, tons of unlockables, virtually everything is here to make this a pretty excellent title to make use of a creative license.

Whatever game that they are working on for the PS3 exclusively is going to be one to look out for if they keep the production values on the same level as this.

Wow, this category is a really close race.

Which is fitting, because I voted for Motorstorm. Its underrated because its one of the best games on the PS3, and no one has played it because they think its just a racing game. It is, in the sense that all you do is race, but its leaps and bounds above any other racing game. It deserves cred, but it gets none.

I was the other Motorstorm vote I really wish there was more racers out there like this. Seems like the racer genre is just so flooded with the Midnight Club/Need For Speed/Burnout type games.

Burnout is Fun, but to be honest, I will pick up Motorstorm 1 since it is just 11 dollars on amazon and then Pacific Drift when it is on a Deal of the Day

LittleBigPlanet...the sales of this game don't do it justice..not at all.
