My PS3 Controller Is Being A Pain

Hi Members!

My "PS3" controller is becoming a pain.My left stick sometimes stays in the last direction I used.I can't return it,and haven't got the scratch to buy one right now.I was thinking of taking apart to fix the problem,but I'm afraid a bunch of springs and stuff will fall out of it.What do you guys think?
 
Odd, my 360 controller is the same way...but it only happens if you move to the left...it becomes a hindrance in action games though when my guy starts slowly walking... :-\
 
Try clicking the analog stick, since it doubles as "R3 or L3 buttons"

Also, one piece of advice I learned since the N64 days. Never touch the analog sticks while the game is being turned on or booting up during load sequences.

Exactly Strubes,In my "Saints Row II",It's hard to stop and talk to people or target something when my stick acts up.
