I used to love Tomb Raider so much..I beat the first 3. But it took forever just for me to find something to kill or run away from. I like Uncharted just because it's more action packed, and the animations are alot more crisp.

that is because Tomb Raider takes a different approach, and i don't think just because is different it should be considered garbage....

Because it's different? They're both adventure/platformers, and I like the one with more action and smoother animations.

and i like the one that's more aerobic and has overall better puzzles ;) and yep i have played every single tomb raider to know that much....

like studies say violence is not needed to make a game fun :lol.

and i don't think uncharted is garbage either, is a pretty darn good game but it just doesn't feel like Tomb Raider to me (as it doesn't feel like gears of wars...for those who mentioned that)

Tomb Raider is different than Uncharted. Sure, they focus on treasure and platforming but does that make them close to comparable? No. They have completely different aspects that are different for both of them. There's no need for comparing this. It's just stupid. Well, there went my two cents.

Exactly, you like puzzles, I like action. And who said action means violence? ;)

.......you are kidding right?

here is the rating of Uncharted... ESRB Rating: T for Blood, Language, Mild Suggestive Themes, Use of Tobacco,
Violence

and really? the action in uncharted most of the time is related to violence....

Yeah, you're right. I'd take boobs over a regular guy any day. Tomb Raider FTW.

Woah, Nathan Drake uses tobacco? Then he's not just an average guy, he's like some kind of super-incredibly-awesome guy. I wonder, if I use tobacco products, will I start to become as cool as him?

No, I'm not kidding. Like you said yourself:

If you had played and beaten Uncharted, you would realize this logic is terribly flawed.

Considering Lara Croft has shot at both animals and humans, you can't necessarily say the game is not violent. Probably just not as much.

The Tomb Raider franchise definitely hit a low with Angel of Darkness, but I think when you compare the first Tomb Raider to other similar games, it's hard for most to say which one is better. I personally would take the first Tomb Raider/Anniversary over Uncharted. There's just something about that game that I can not put my finger on and no it's not because of Lara Croft herself. It's something that many games don't have and Uncharted is one of them. After analyzing for ten years though, I would say it has something to do with the music and atmosphere.

Oh Nathan, is it cold there in Lara's shadow? Not according to Naughty Dog's Bruce Straley, who told CVG that it's Lara Croft who should be shivering beneath the Uncharted hero's cover, not the other way around.

Asked if Nathan could ever be as popular as Eidos' British spelunker, the Uncharted director responded with a question of his own, asking "Why, do you think he's not already there, if not beyond that point already, in terms of popularity?" He added that Drake adds a "much needed breath of fresh air in an industry that's been a bit stale for a while, in terms of characters." So cheeky, Mr. Straley, though Lara Croft was fresh once too, and time has a way of making even the most standout luminaries passé.

When someone besides the maker of Uncharted says it, then I'll think about taking it seriously. :lol

No you'll be as cool as me. :( It's not all crack up what it's meant to be. I used to smoke a long time ago, when I was 18 and I quit when I was 20. It was a pain in the butt, but I did it.

Honestly, Tomb Raider Anniversary and Tomb Raider Legends was incredible. I really feel the series redeemed itself. Angel of Darkness I thought was a blunder. Yet I knew something bad would happen when Tomb Raider 3 had Lara taking on commandos in BDU's?? I mean, wow...

Now Underworld was sweet, but I noticed they focused on a bigger challenge this time around.

Imho, my favorite are still Tomb Raider 1 and 2. I played the heck out of 1 on Saturn and 2 was a nice touch up to the gameplay.

Uncharted, I still have not finished, but to me, it's more so an Indiana Jones wannabe. It executes it very well I will say, but it's odd how this game came out during the movie trailer release "Fool's Gold" with Matthew McConaughey during that winter of 2007 (Movie didn't arrive in theaters until Feb 2008 of course). Watch the trailer to this movie and tell me they didn't or Naughty Dog (either way) ripped off each other? The movie and the game Uncharted, start out EXACTLY the same way, even makes a joke about his flying abilities, by saying, "Where did you learn to fly like that?" and Matthew responds, "PLAYSTATION".

Ironic isn't it? Conspriacy perhaps?

Anyways, Uncharted is a good clone, but he can't do all the acrobatic tricks like Lara can. Instead Nathan acts like a normal dude, but with a GEARS OF WAR combat system. Yet, it's amazing when I had to climb that tower to find the key to unlock the next gate, then he becomes "SUPER LARA WANNABE". Almost as if, he's two different characters, like Clark and Superman.

eh hello? have you seen the gunfights? (you know the ones people confused with gears of wars?) yeah you are not allowed to continue without beating those... so how is it not violence right there?

but anyway the case is close XD BOOBS WIN
