NXE causing audio issues on HDMI cables.

I can vouche for this, this has happened to me in Rock Band 2, Left 4 Dead, Gears of War 2. It really drives me insane, when I'm in the middle of a song and it cuts off to total silence.

So true, but what stinks, is MS did this on purpose. Is on Component cables that do support fiber optics, they can only reach 1080i and the HDMI can reach 1080p and i. Which I feel is unfair to the consumer.

It's not all MS's fault though. HDMI standards are constantly being revised and upgraded and this only occurs with TV's that have the older HDCP firmware, which NXE doesn't support. So blame should go to those who come up with the standards as well.

As for Component Cables, yes they can achieve 1080p. Well made Component Cables are actually just as good as HDMI. It's up to your television manufacturer if they want to support it.
