OMFG!!!! I found....

I would save that if I was you. And only spend it in a emergency, you don't see 600 bucks laying around everyday! Hide it in a safe place so you or nobody would be tempted to spend it. What ever you do don't take it to the cops, anyone could claim they lost 600 bucks.

Read my previous posts, and you wil see why your argument that "anyone could claim it" it a moot point.

Yea, like my neighbor overhearing I found $600, and calling the cops, saying that I stole $600 from him, while at the same time getting $60 out og his bank account.

There's lots of ways a person could claim it as their own. I dount it would take much to prove otherwise though.

Even so, you have to be pretty **** stupid to be carrying around $600 in raw cash.

The point is, Nova, that nobody is going to try to claim the money unless they lost it! Nobody would have a way of knowing that $600 was lost and go to the cops to try to claim it except someone who actually lost it.

I guess we won't really know what's become of our friend and the money till he posts again

or Donald Trump or Oprah Winfrey, but my guess is its some kind of TV show candid camera type thing...

Someone on the way home from the bank?

I'm sorry, but I can't see any real reason to take out $600 in cash unless you're paying drug money. Anyplace that would want that much money would easily take it through check or credit card.

I never said it was okay to take the money for himself. I said that his chances of getting caught are slim to none, and that anyone carrying that much raw cash around isn't very bright.

just tell us what you did with the money manson
I bet he bought that PSP. Well..if I did come across that much money I'd just throw it into my saving or checking account.

If it was drug money, they deserved to lose it.

Spend it on a PS3.

$600! What is that? 4-6 weeks of part time work? It's not worth greedying yourself over. Well, I find it really funny though, that your mom let you keep the rest? Did she know that you had found all that money? Money is money!... it'll come and go, and will probably never go away, but what you keep in your hearts and mind, is what's truly important. Is $600 worth your guilt?

My roomate pays our bills and rent up front, and I pay him my share in cash. That means about once a month I walk home from the bank with about $400-$450 in my pocket, cash. There are instances in which people do carry around large amounts of cash, but I do find it rather odd that they were careless enough to drop it.
