Original Xbox games that look so GOOD on 360 (offical list)

MegaDrive20XX

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
Okay, so far I've had my share of games mess up on Xbox 360...Mega Man Anniversary...DOOM 3...Shenmue II.(Each of those games have either graphical issues or have a tendency to freeze up during heavy gameplay)..yet there are some games that look like brand new games on 360.

So far this is the only three I've seen that stand and deliver the goods:

Halo (Oh yeah)
Halo 2 (So smooth)
Soul Calibur II (Hokey smokes! the game looks BETTER on 360 then the original Xbox! Put this baby in widescreen with 480p or 720p for one heck of an experience!)

Post any other games from original Xbox that look better or perform better, cuz I seriously gotta check out those suckers

yes, some games do recieve a boost when played on 360 graphically and depending on what kind of HDTV you play them on.

hm...i heard that halo 2 has improved shadow effects, but i wasnt sure. thanks for clearing it up for me guys. :D

Some games, especially later generation ones like the aforementioned Halo 2 and Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, are upconverted to a higher resolution when played on a 360. There is a comparison shot of Halo 2 on the Xbox and Halo 2 running on a 360 at (I think) 720p. I'll see if I can dig it up.

Double postage.

That page shows quite a few comparison shots of the original Xbox running Halo 2 at 480p and the 360 running Halo 2 at 720p. The difference is huge (well, maybe not game changingly huge, but still significant)

There are some home stereo receivers that upconvert S-video or component video up to HDMI...

Is the 360 just running those games out HDMI instead of the prior S, component or composit outputs or is it actually improved hardware and software mapping the pixels at higher resolutions?
