Playstation Network Accessing Troubleshooting

Ok, peoples, I have more problems. I recently moved to a new house in a new town. I got internet and a new router. We hooked the ps3 directly up to router, and it says it succeeds in getting IPadress and detecting internet connection but it will not let us sign into the playstation network. It says failed every time. Do we need to change some setting on the ps3 er router becuz we moved and got a new internet services provider and new router? What exactly do I have to change er input and where? I am confused (like usual)

Thankyou

Hi Blue :)

Ya, I guess just had to unplug stuff and turn it off and on. I do not really know what fixed it. It was one of those things where it does not work and super frustrates you, and then decides to work for no apparent reason, which is almost even more frustrating cuz I wanna understand why so I can fix it next time, but as long as it works, I am all good :)

Right now my PS3 won't connect to my router wirelessly. No clue why. It's not a big deal because my PS3 is close enough that I connect it to my router with an ethernet cable, but it's still strange and kind of annoying. My computer connects wirelessly just fine...

When I had a PS3 that was my like worst complaint about it. Everything else in my house runs just fine on my internet and connects without any problems. The PS3 however was the most PITA thing to set up. Was so picky and I had to go into my router settings and mess things up for EVERYTHING ELSE because that's the settings the PS3 wanted me to use.
