Very good RPG series...endless possibility's for teams, and Moves....I really liked red,and blue versions.Hopfully the new DS Titles will be just as good or better!

I used to like it, but some of the more recent games have been milking the franchise dry, and with games like Pokemon channel and Pokemon dash, not to mention the atrocious Pokemon Colosseum games have put the Pokemon series in the toilet

talk about beating a dead horse, where's the originality
if Pokemon actually added something truly original back into its games I may still enjoy it

guys I got it. I can't belive Nintendo never thought of this (or never produced it). POKEMON ONLINE FOR DS! I know, I'm so smart. Since everyone is with this online fad, and everyone who played Pokemon still likes it even if they don't realize it, I think they'd bring Pokemon back up top. I mean, who wouldn't like to have group Pokemon battles where your team could plan out their attack and different types of pokemon could give buffs to each other. Just having a Pokemon world with other people would be amazing. And there wouldn't be any items or weapons, just Pokemon. And the DS would be a perfect system for it, with it's Wi-Fi and dual screens. The Bottom screen could be the command screen, while the top viewed the graphics (maybe 3D graphics!) and the battle itself. The battles themselves would be turn-based with a 1 min 30 sec limit per each players turn (so some afk person doesn't ruin it >:() Sorry for going on a rant here but I think this is a great idea

I have always thought this would be a great idea. It seems simple enough, they wouldnt even need to make it a MMORPG. They could just have online battles.

that's what I'm saying, pokemon would be cool if they put more originality into it

But an MMORPG could duels inside of it for those who just want battles, kind of like what Guild Wars did.

First of all, online play is not a fad. It's here to stay. Second, You have a great idea there. There should even be a way for you to become a pokemon master and have people challenge you for your title.

even if you did, they probably wouldn't, they're just milking the franchise and probably have no interest in innovation

Yes but this innovation can make them more money. Online play is extremely popular and they should cash in now.

That pokemon online idea sounds great, but I have a better idea- maybe a pokemon MMORPG, since they seem to be really popular right now. I don't play the old games anymore, but I'd pick that up if they made it, if I ever get a faster internet connection than crappy 56k aol.

Yeah I pokemon RPG would be cool, even if they didnt make an entire new game. If they just added new features to the older games, people would still play. They could even make it for the PC.
