His Neo Geo and PC Engine such a tragedy, so awful, even though I know he is thankful to be alive, sooner or later he will sit down and become sick just thinking about it.
Famicom, all those game&Watch, maybe he could clean up the Famicom carts. They may still work. :

If he was smart, he'd have put down insurance on such belongings. So he can just be thankful he didn't lose much more irreplaceable things, like his life or loved ones.

That really sucks. I really fear floods and fire. I don't have to worry much about flooding here. If I had a collection like that I would feel pretty sick right now about it. If it were my own small collection I would feel pretty bad. Hell has a great point though. If you're going to have a collection like that you should have it insured.
