Well, I don't have anything about the graveyard shift to comment on, so here is something to talk about.

What are your thoughts on nuclear chickens of destruction?

The best thing about graveyard shift, as long as you don't work at a 24 hour Wal-Mart, is that there are no customers to deal with.

Also, you get paid more.

But otherwise, it's not a lot of fun. You're either working or sleeping whenever your friends want to go out and do something cool. I can't tell you how many Halo LAN parties I had to leave early because I had to go to work. :'(

Now that I'm going back to days, I'll be able to go to all-night game parties. :woot

The Wal-Mart I work at is open from 8 am to 11 pm, so we would call 3-11 a closing shift here. Graveyard is the 11 pm to 8 am shift.

Closing shifts are cool, though. Like you said, late enough to sleep in but early enough to still go out after you get off work. :af

Yeah, I'm going to miss listening to music all night and getting free beverages once a week.

There's good stuff and bad stuff about any shift, really. It's just a matter of what suits each person best.

How did you guys get your jobs? Just going out and applying? I've been looking everywhere, but no where is hiring right now....................................................

Nuclear chickens of destruction, huh? The best thing about them is that if you eat one, you get super powers, i.e. Spiderman. Though you'd be Chicken-manTm and your powers would be like gliding short distances and thats about it.....

started up my business Game Addiction :)

Hard work.... 100% determination, and overall .... A lot of help from God :D

Well, I work hard and have a lot of determination, but it's up to God if He decides to help me or not.

I'm screwed. :-\

Wohoo! I just recovered from crashing my dad's computer network at my house :woot

I need to be more careful when I try to mess with stuff :-\

So they called you in for an interview? Hmm, must work on my interviewing skills.

My computer is constantly crashing (whoa, lots of c's) and I don't do anything to it. I turn it on and it crashes.

I was lucky enough to apply at Wal-Mart when they were hiring. I knew stuff about electronics so even though I was coming in straight from college with no work experience, I got the job. Then my hard work and dedication kept me there. :D

For GameStop, I actually had to apply twice. The first time was when one of my friends who worked there quit because he got hired by Sony. I applied to take his position, but wasn't even interviewed. The next time was when they were hiring for the holidays. Since I shopped there a lot and was friends with everyone who worked there by then, the store manager hired me. :D

We got a new store manager and things were kind of iffy for a while, but I have been doing really well lately as far as numbers go, so I'm not too worried.

what did you do?!

Heh, well I've been trying to get audio and video stuff to work with msn... so I ended up cracking into his systemand found out I can't because of his ISA server he has set up, since it doesn't deal with complex SIP commands, I tried to set it for a shared internet connection, but that changed the one of this network card ip's to the actual internet ip, and that caused all the network pc's to lose connection with that one  :-\

No way, I just made it look like there was a configuration error, I just cover my tracks and let him fix it :p
