Hmm I don't see any other non gaming complaints than yours Kaz lol. I hate subways, stairs, helicopters, etc., is from a game if that's what you were referring to. No worries, though!

Another thing that has always bothered me and I think we're all guilty of this at some point is being close minded gamers. I tell ya nothing else irks me more then to hear somebody slam something they have never tried, or to slam a game/console/whatever simply because it's not from their brand of choice. I think some good healthy debate is cool and competition is always a good thing, but completely bashing something just for the sake of fanboyism is pretty weak.
 
I hate hate hate how expensive games are. And I especially hate how great games go very unnoticed.

I also like to play demos. I wish there was a better selection so that way, I know what I want. (Like I did for Batman Arkham Asylum.)

And the dreadfully highly desired games released only in Japan! I just started to go learn Japanese because I was just too fed up with Japan. :lol

I absolutely hate how the PS3 cannot listen to music while you play a game! I loved to do that with a 360. (Disturbed/Rammstein + Gears of War = Match made in Heaven!) So please Sony...please!

Where are the old school vertical and horizontal shoot'em ups like Gradius, R-Type, or Raidens? I'm not talking about remakes either. I'm talking about where is the creativity to explore this genre with some fresh uniqueness that will give us new classics?

And I agree with x2, give me some old fashion turned based RPG with some great stories to work my way through.

Give me some more 2D fighters, the Marvel vs Capcom King of Fighters Samurai Shodown sort-of stuff.

I hate how games that SHOULD be on multiple platforms are only on ONE [cough] LEFT FOR DEAD [/cough] it would be WONDERFUL on PS3.
 
This is a very interesting thread. I agree with most people who posted so far.

1. I hate that games are only designed for HDTV's. Not only is text too small but whole sections of the player's vision are cut off on the sides.
2. I hate that games are only designed for online multiplayer. I routinely get together with friends to play videogames, we routinely end up playing N64 to play multiplayer games. Halo did it right, everyone else should take note.
3. I hate when games with multiplayer features don't include bots. Playing online sometimes feels like willful castration. Gears did it right, everyone else should take note.
4. I hate when games with split screen multiplayer don't allow LANed consoles to also support splitscreen multiplayer, i.e. Borderlands.
5. Cost.
6. Unfinished/broken games released and then patched later.
7. DLC that was obviously meant to be in the original game but was yanked and sold at an additional cost.

It is not on only one platform. It is on 360 and PC. :P
