I'm amazed no one has made a topic on the new Prince of Persia yet. It's coming out in just about a week now and I'm honestly really excited for it. The art style looks really original, and looks like it could be one of the defining titles of the year. So, how come no one seems to care about it? XD
 
i actually liked the sands of time trilogy except for the first one but the other ones where good in my opinion, i am exited for this one as well
 
I am quite interested in this game, actually. The artistic design of the game looks impeccable, and watching this game in motion can actually be breathtaking. I've heard it takes a lot of inspiration from Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and that more than anything has me interested in it. I don't know if I would buy this game for myself, I'm not really sure why, just doesn't seem like my kind of thing. If I'm going to sink some time into a 1-player experience its going to be Fallout 3 or Fable 2, and it is nearly impossible not to be surrounded by excellent multiplayer games right now.

I think once Christmas gets closer, and people get some time to sit at home and play video games, PoP will start getting more attention. It just doesn't have the hype of a Fallout or the pizzazz of a Gears. I think its going to be a game you're going to have to play to really get a sense for what the game is all about. Communicating the world of Ico through 30 second commercials was impossible, and such is the case here as well.
 
Funny you made this thread. I was just thinking about why nobody was talking about this game. I'm picking it up Wednesday. I love the fact that you get the Limited Edition for the same price as the standard edition just for preordering it. I've never really played a PoP game, so I'm hoping this one will be pretty good.
 
this is one of the games i think ive wanted the most out of this last quater of games and it happened to be the last that was released as well not long to wait now less than a week. I love the art style of this its cell shaded but not like wind waker its more detail. I played a demo of it when i was at the mcm expo month or so ago it had its faults but that was an early play of it and ubisoft rep told me that they have sorted it out now. I can't wait to play it, you can tell straight off that they have used the assassins creed engine for this even the way the ladescapes look.

This game looks awesome. The commercial looked so awesome. You never die either, which is different.
 
Ive had it since day of release and im loving it its so beautiful i love the art work of it so much, some people i have spoken to have said that its boring but i haven't found it boring since ive been playing it. Its not that long of game there is an achivement for doing it in under 12 hours but even so after completing it, it would still make me want to play thought it again
 
Caught a glimpse of a trailer for the game while at the movies yesterday... It's artistic wonder captivated me to the edge of my seat, I was almost mistaken to believe it was the movie itself premiering before me... I'm sold! :D But I probably wont be adding it to my hit list for the time being.

It's a great game either way.
 
I've never played a PoP game in my life. I'm not sure why, though, as they do seem to be the kind of game I'd like.
