Problem with Laptop

My laptops screen won't come on and the fan will start running but then stop after about 5 seconds when i turn the laptop on so is there anything i can do or have i got a crapped out $2600 laptop that i haven't even had for a month .

Call them up and tell them you have a faulty laptop? Sounds like the exact same problem my last 2 laptops ended up having, will never own one again in my life.

The screen finally came on it just took a bit longer than it normally does.

maybe a hard reset will do the trick? it seems to be the same thing that has happened to my laptop a few times, but a hard reset fixes it right back

If I recall, that is an Alienware that you bought from Dell very recently...

It is definitely still in the warrenty. I suggest calling their tech support and letting them know that you're having problems with it.

It's all good now it seems to be back to normal but if it happens again i'm ringing Dell and yeah the laptop is Alienware.
