PS3...thoughts so far

Yeah, It's prolly gonna end up being a "get used" game. Prolly pick it up when it's $40 or cheaper.

FFXIII appeals to me just because I enjoy the FF series, and MGS4 should be sweet, although I don't like Solid Snake being like 60 years old. The games that are going to undoubtedly grace the PS3 are keeping me excited too, God of War 3 and such.


@Mai, I think Heavenly Sword will be a sweet game. From what I've seen, I hope the fighting doesn't get repetitive. All I've seen is tons of people fighting her at once. Hopefully the intuitive fighting system will help repress some of that.
 
Every FF is different, though, so you gotta play 'em all to say that. I'm glad they're ending Snake after MGS4.
 
FFX was my favorite. Graphics, story, battle system, sphere grid. It was good on all points. ^_^ I even liked all the characters! The super weapon quests suck though. Dodging 200 lightning bolts in a row. PFfffft. Like I have the patience for that. :lol
 
Haha yeah, dodging 200 lightning bolts was a joke. Each FF was differnent to me. I personally didn't like 8, X-2, and 12. So hopefully the new one(s) for the PS3 will be good. The characters look interesting. From what I've gathered from various different sites, the girl in the regular FFXIII trailer is said to be like a girl version of Cloud which gives her an A in my book. The guy in FFXIII Versus' trailer is rumored to be Cloud's son, although I don't see how that could happn. He does look pretty cool though. :)
 
i think we are being a little to hard on the wii

just cause they had nothing to show at E3

we still have

mario galaxy
super smash bros brawl
metroid prime 3
mariokart wii

and a lot of others
 
Zelda might be considered hardcore, but to me, it's easy. As most players agree. But yes, hardcore none the less. RE4 is the what, fourth version of it? GCN, PS2, PC, Wii. Yeah.
 
True. It is way fun on the Wii. It beats all others in controls, all in content, PS2 in looks, PC in not sucking, and maybe it's a bit nicer looking than the GCN version.
 
My only Wii game(out of three that I plan to buy), but I've got a renting service, so I can get any.
 
I don't think we're being too hard on the Wii. The games you mentioned Hines, are the ones Reggie mentioned...the ones we already knew about. They have nothing else.

But, that can be discussed in the Wii section of the forums.

I'm having some trouble on Ninja Gaiden Sigma....man, this game really is tough.

Yeah, but I've never played the Xbox one, thus the only reason I bought it. This one has 5 more missions and bosses so that's a plus as well. It looks gorgeous.

Just about as cutting edge as RE4 being ported twice. :lol
