PSP Defects.... list what you have.

ok.... this is a psp defect thread. Its becoming more clear that there are more than just LCD problems. Here is my list below:


My Psp dies every once in awhile. Its only happened 2 times.... but the game will freeze and the unit will turn off.
The unit gets hot every once in awhile..... by where the battery compartment is (mainly while using wifi)
I have a small bubble in the plastic of my screen.
I have 1 noticeable dead pixel.... and about 4 other spots on the screen that shine brighter than normal (pixels could be dying).

Anyone else?

uh, i got a dead pixel on my first psp but sony replaced it. Now, the system gets way too hot also, the l button doesn't work half the time, and the battery meter might never changes. It's always green, no amtter if im charging it, or ill be playing it and it will just turn off and i'll realize i need to charge it.
 
For some that would be a plus. Once again you are off topic. This is not a "system bashing" thread. It is about actual real defects in the system.
 
On my DS the touch screen wouldn't work half the time. My friends' touch screen wouldn't work at all. Top screen wouldn't show sometimes. Idk why but the DS's I've seen have been more problematic than the PSP's I've seen which is bad cause I wanna get a new DS Lite.

Sounds like you need to reconfigure the touch screen. It's all a matter of retraining the DS to sense the touch.

Dead pixel, and triggers that stick. (all out of the box).

Oh, and I have this one problem where I put in a game that looks good on the cover, and then I play it, only to find that it completely sucks. It's VERY strange. Any one else have this problem? :lol
 
I have this one defect, well sorta. It's where no good games ever show up on the PSP.

i disagree with the whole "psp has no good games" thing.

one defect i had is with the pelican face armor (this
pelicanface.jpg

if you screw it on too tight, it pushes down on the open button, making it stick, so the disc slot constantly pops open.
 
We haven't even gotten GoW out, it's not going to be for sure good, GoW name or not.
 
Okay, other than bad games, which isn't really a defect for the PSP, its the norm, I have a couple dead pixels and that one button near the screen (square I think. I haven't had my PSP for a couple months so idk) sticks sometimes.
 
On the first PSP I had, the eject thing on the memory card slot was broken, so the memory card wouldn't stay in place.

The one I have now has a few dead pixels but I don't play it enough for it to be bothersome.
