The PStwo looks pretty cool. It's a lot slimmer than the original. If I didn't need a HDD for FFXI I'd probably get one.
 
I heard about that a long time ago, didn't know it was official. That would be cool if other companies caught on the to sleek, sexy system fad. (Imagines Xbox that doesn't weigh 40,000 pounds) But to do that for an Xbox, the Hard drive would have to go. They would have to make some large capacity memory cards to go with it.
 
I dont even know what's the point in making this, I mean its the same thing but smaller in size.

they do have sleek hard drives now :)


as for smaller size = smaller houses that don't have a lot of room (especially in Japan).
BUT you are right.... for a lot of people this is not an issue... and this is a chance for Sony to make more Money.

System redesigns are cool though.... IE the Super Nintendo had one, the NES had one, heck... the genesis had 3, and a few other systems did too. I wouldn't mind seeing a Gamecube redesign... that would be cool.

as technology advances, the hardware can get smaller.

i don't see why systems have to be so big, as for hard drives just use a IPOD style hard drive. they hold 40 gigs and are tiny

actually... why just 40 gig.. that space is minimal... minimum of 100 gigs at least :)
