Alright..I had an offline profile that I've been using since the xbox came out, and once I made an xbox live account, none of the achievements bled through onto my new gamertag. Is there a way to like merge the profiles?

No, pretty sure not. Otherwise my friend wouldn't complain about having to lose their stuff every time they get the free month.

your achiv's should still be there.... did you have to alter your gamer tag in anyway? because I did'nt have xbox live either when I had my 360 but when I went online it had all my achviments....that sounds very strange you should look into that more get ahold of microsoft and silver is free so you don't need to pay to get online but you have to pay to play online.... get some prepaid months it will save you and your credit card some headaches
Yeah I never went online with it or got silver or anything to begin with, so I made a new gamertag. It didn't transfer anything over though. Sounds like I'm SOL.
Pretty much. Before we were online I never thought to use my gamertag for my profile name, so I have a bunch of achievements on that profile that I have to re-earn. Sad but oh well, the games were fun so I'll enjoy them again, since I haven't played most of them since launch.
