Eh, maybe not enough.
 
Eh, the PSP version of GTA: Vice City Stories had online, I don't think the PS2 version had it. I may be wrong as I have not bothered with GTA in forever.

They aren't identical. The PS2 versions have better controls, no frame rate problems, extra features, cheaper price, and longer draw distance.
