RE Afterlife hasn't even been finished, but a 5th RE movie is on the way.

Okay, hold the frame here... The 4thisn't even due yet, and suddenly they're going to plop out work into the 5th? WTH is going on here?

Well one thing to keep in mind is the 5th movie is supposed to be a reboot and starting the timeline over again does make alot of sense since the zombies have pretty much overrun the entire earth.
