Resident Evil??

I'm thinking about picking up the original RE for my cube today. It's only $10 so I figured "why not?". I also think it would be smart since I've heard alot about the games, but I've never really learned the story. I think the best way for me to figure out this whole story is to start from the beginning. Is this a good choice? Also, I would like to ask if they redid RE2 and three as well on the cube. :)
 
The RE remake is freakin' awesome. Trust me you are going to love it. The other games were also brought over to the Cube as part of the temporary exclusive deal a few years back but they were the same as the originals. RE1 was the only one remade. They're all great however. :D
 
RE1 for the Cube is the best version, imo.

If you want to continue the story then I recommend picking those games up for the PS1 since they should be cheaper and look the same.
 
Just get the Cube remake, the PSone version looks horrible nowadays. I sometimes play the remake just to watch in awe at the graphics, especially the lightning effects.

Yeah I never could get into RE0....it's too bad because I was so hyped for it. RE4 is a totally different experience as far as gameplay is concerned. :D

You can't go wrong with the RE1 remake. :D
 
Well...I picked this up Saturday and I'm not that far into it. I love how creepy it is. I only play it at night with my blinds closed and all the lights off with the volume turned up. I only played about 10 minutes of RE on the original PS so I don't know that much about it. So far, I only have a blue gem, a book of curses, and something else. I'll keep you updated as I progress.

Note: I haven't found Jill or Wesker yet. (please no spoilers...thank you :D)
 
I prefered Jill in the original, but Chris is better in the remake because he does that awesome hand-grenade in the mouth move.
