It's like Wario Ware it seems, but retro settings only.

You re-enact many 8-bit scenarios, many NES references for us old folks. Especially if you loved the movie, "the Wizard"

It's a bunch of games which essentially feel like romhacks of classics like Galaga and Super Mario Bros. That said, this game OWNS. The first game alone, Cosmic Gate (the Galaga clone) is incredibly fun and addicting.

This game takes me back... though I shouldn't say that, since I was BORN in '83 and this game takes place in '84, but I've always had a taste for arcade-type stuff like Galaga, Pac-Man, etc, so this game really delivers on the nostalgia. Hell, dare I say Cosmic Gate is BETTER than Galaga...

This game's alright. There's one major flaw. YOU HAVE TO REPLAY A GAME, OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER, AND OVER. Seriously. Objectives are like "complete mission 1". Then after that, you have to start over, and complete 1 and 2. Then start over and complete 1,2 and 3. Bahh, I didn't like it. After you beat a game for the umpteenth time, there is no replay value.

I take it you were born in the 90's?

i don't think that really matters.... i used to enjoy games from the 80's even though i was born on the 90's but the gaming standards have increased, so for some gamers doing the same task over and over again might get repetitive, so i think i agree with Strubes.

now for those who like old school games i bet this game is great for them (i am into old school RPGS myself... those never get old for me) but it's all about preferences, not when you were born.

Meh. It feels like I'm the only guy who replays games for high scores nowadays. Got over 100 hours in Ikaruga, and it's not even my favorite shooter...

If that were the case, it would be more fun. Unfortunately, this is level/mission based.

I love replaying games as much as the next guy, but having to replay a level again and again, and wanting to replay the level is totally different. :D
