i seem to recall that mai had some problems with the controller after playing certain fighting game xD and if i remember correctly it was with soul calibur IV?

Surprisingly, the controller actually did still work. It just looked crappy.

As for the system itself, it stopped reading discs.

I realized after I had already bought another system that I probably could have lied to Microsoft and said it got the three red rings.
