Man this game is cool! Been playing the demo that came with September OXM. Some cool things that happened to me so far

-Started robbing a store, but after I got the safe money, the employee hit the alarm and the cops started to come. I, uh, gave the employee some copper-coated candy and busted down the backdoor to the store. I started to run, but the cops came in cars. The awesome thing is that some of my fellow Saints were around and ambushed the cops! They bought me enough time to make a getaway

-I was just walking around, when I saw 2 rival gang members cruising around MY turf! So I jumped on top of their car, they slammed the brakes and sent me flying. A cop that was on patrol jumped out of his car, and opened fire on the other gang members before they started shooting me. They turned around and killed him :'( but I got back up and shot the guy in the back. The female gang member saw this and ran, but an angry citizen floored it and sent her sprawling down the road. I could only say "FREAKING SWEET!"

-Pipebomb + train = chaos in the streets! Cops don't like it though :lol

-Jumping in front of the cars on the bridges (they go much faster than street cars) and going flying like a ragdoll (literally!)

-Walking across a street and getting nailed by an SUV 3 times in a row (about 35 feet up in the air)

-Discovering gas pumps at 70 miles an hour.
 
I got it yesterday. They usually come around this time (5 weeks before the actual month)

Saint's Row is the only 360 demo, but there are quite a few regular Xbox demos.
 
Better than Vice City or 3. Haven't really played SA... SA might have more features (motorcycles etc) but Saint's Row is fun in its own right.
 
Thats my thinking for Oblivion. I just dont want to buy one and only have one game I like for it. Maybe this game will interest me?
 
I saw a couple of vids for it and the flying thing is a bit exaggerated. It seems that drivers in the game have no regard for human life as they don't even bother to slow down when pedestrians cross the street. :lol The game does look cool however. 8)
 
:lol Actually they do slow down for you. The only way I can get hit is by intentionally JUMPING in front of cars. If you say, stand in the middle of a road, the will slow down and go around you.


I don't know if I'll buy this. I'd love to, but my zombie loyalties run deep.
 
I heard u can go into every building, is this right? Can't wait to get this game, just bought 360 so i can get this game. ;D
 
You can't go into every building, but there are quite a few stores (in the demo area) that you can enter with no loading screen or lag whatsoever. As far as I can tell there aren't any loading time between areas, so the only loading screens in the full game are going to be on missions.
 
Are the graphics really good then as you have the demo? The videos on ign, it looks as if there the same as GTA. CANT WAIT!!! >:( :o
 
Even in the early process for this game, the graphics looked waaaaaay better then GTA...but who knows about GTA4.......
 
I recently played this too. First of all the graphics are great but I noticed really bad framerate at times. It took me out of the game. Otherwise it's a revamped GTA. It's almost like playing GTA except with better graphics and a much better character creation option.
 
I prefer to judge a game on its own merits. Just because Saint's Row may not demolish the GTA franchise overnight doesn't mean its a bad game. I never liked the GTA games anyways... but this is pretty fun.
 
This is the game i want more than any other, i have Fight Night Round 3 which i think has the best graphics i have ever seen. What games should i look out for in the near future. I want Saints Row and another game, any ideas?

Get Gears of War; that game is gonna be good.....
