Seriously Thinking of switching over to the Dark Side -sony-

Hey guys as you may know i have always been a bit of a nintendo lover, you know wii and ds, but lately i have really wanted a ps3 and a psp. I dont know why I am so interested in sony all of a sudden but thats all i can think about lately! I have always dis-liked/hated the ps2, but i think i am ready to join team sony. So if i could get some suggestions and opnions ftom u guys i would really appricate it. So many options silver or black psp? 40, 60, or 80 gig ps3? purchase a Ps3 or an Hdtv first ? Griff, my PS3 runs just fine on my SDTV...I just bought Assassins Creed for it today, and it's incredible. I'm also looking into getting a PSP. The PS3 is a magnificent system though, as long as you have the money for it. Come over some time and I'll show you. :)
 
Silver PSP is sweeter imho, never gets any finger prints.

And Griff! Welcome aboard! ^_^ 60 or 80GB would be your best bet if you want to get every little feature just right! I have the 80GB and Strubes has the 60GB. Both systems are top notch by far!

Now an HDTV would be your ultimate goal right now, due to the fact that a few PS3 games, like Folklore. DO not like SDTV very well.

However I heard you have a Widescreen right? You shouldn't have any problems then. If that TV supports like S-Video or Component, you will be living pretty well I'd say :)
 
I would personally get the PS3 first. But it depends on whether you want handheld or console first.

P.S. How bout those Pistons tonight?! :D
 
I still dont see how anyone could hate the ps2... it has something for everyone

I hope Sony comes back and wastes Microsoft....again

you too bro :) Been too long I say! PS3 first! We need to get you ONLINE and play some Rainbow Six Vegas with me and Strubes :D The PSP can always wait :)
 
PSP and PS3 are both sweet consoles, admittedly, they might not have the best game selections right now, but that will change (GoW ftw)

But the 360 is also worth checking out, so it's really all up to the type of games you like.

Hahaha, well for one that is not going to happen. Why the hatred though? Has MS hurt or wronged you in some kinda way? The 360 is a well priced, highly supported system that has games for everybody, so I don't really see what is so bad about MS :?

If you hated the PS2, you're going to have some issues with the PS3. Stick with 360 for now.
 
how many more psp years will i have? isnt this the third year so am i looking at about another two untill we see a new handheld from sony?

Was real close to buying that 80 gig today, had it in my hand, just didnt have the cash in the other hand :D

Also i noticed when the ps3 first launched the box felt like it was almost 50-60 lbs the 80 gig i checked out today felt about half that.

ALso i saw there were some pretty good black friday deals like a 80 gig ps3, extra controller and a game for 500

MS isnt only in the Video Game market... Plus the fact that they were trying to pass off the Red Ring as the fault of user stupidity was bull awhile ago.
 
That has nothing to do with the fact you said Microsoft isn't solely video games like Sony was.
 
Griff, get the PS3 and THROW ME SOME CHICKEN OVER HERE! Im starving! I'm stuck at work as I type this and dang it I don't wanna be here :lol
 
So your hate is that you use Microsoft products a lot, and more than Sony ones?
