The main lead of Rose was played by the actress who played in Pitch Black, which I also quite enjoyed. I thought that the little girl was an excellent acress, with exception to the, "I'm on fire" scene.

Yeah, the little girl surprised me, she did well. Usually little kids suck in movies, in my opinion. I just didn't like the acting from basically everyone.
 
I can't believe people like this movie! The last time I walked out of a movie was a date to see the movie french kiss, and I thought about walking out during silent hill. Don't get me wrong, the special fx were fantastic and the girlies were kinda cute, and I guess if movie music is a plus for you guys then yeah, that was good too, but the movie came up short imo. I liked the silent hill games and have no complaint about them, I guess maybe it just didn't cross over into the Hollywood realm as good as I thought it would.
