So BestBuy as a video game magazine now. "@Gamer"

MegaDrive20XX

Segatron Genesis... call me the wizard.
I got the first issue in the mail and I have to say, I'm pretty happy that it comes with coupons. Examples being, $20 off BioShock 2 or $20 off Halo 3 ODST. The reviews are kind of average, the previews are what you expect from a major chain retailer. The big ups is finally a gaming magazine tending to PC Gamer needs. Which I feel GameInformer never really messes with much since GameStop owns them and focuses on console gaming more so. Subscription for a year is $19.99, standard fee compared to most. Overall, first free issue is a nice catch. Let's hope it evolves into something that can be noted well among the community of gamers.

Please tell me it's better magazine than some of the other crap magazines that charge an insanely inflated subscription fee that you need to take out a 2nd mortgage on your house to pay for.

It's hard to be interested in any gaming magazines when they are outdated by the time they arrive since you can find most of the information online.

The same almost applies to strategy guides. Our local EB Games doesn't carry a fraction of the amount of guides like they used to.Why pay $30? Just click your mouse.

QFT. Also I would have accepted this as an answer, "since you have Mega finding most of the information for EGA and his friends" ;)

Who is that cat on your avatar Mega?

The coupons seem to be the most worth while, the problem is, would the savings be enough to offset the cost of the subscription? I would bet no since I probably won't be buying all the games on sale.
