This weekend is a major fighting game tourney, SoCal Regionals.
Games that will be played are:
BlazBlue Continuum Shift
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix
Super Street Fighter IV
Tatsunoko vs. Capcom
Tekken 6
Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
and Marvel vs Capcom 2
Not only will there be alot of games being played for big money (the SSFIV pot will be over $10,000 alone) there will also be big names from the West Coast as well as some really big names from overseas, Daigo Umehara will be there to avenge his defeat at Season's Beating Redemption, Gamerbee the Taiwanese Adon player, Tokido, and Sako the Cammy player from Japan that came out of nowhere and defeated Daigo in an online Godsgarden Tournament.
Capcom is being very supportive of this event by having on site Marvel vs. Capcom 3 playable to public as well. The event is going to be covered by G4TV but, thankfully Levelup Series (the people behind SoCal Regionals) have stated that they have full discretion of who will do commentary, so we don't get what happened at Evo with Adam Sesslar.
