Sony and David Jaffe sued over God of War for copyright infringement??

Apparently back in 2002 there was going to be a movie based on the same thing.
 
Yeah, I don't see how well this one will hold up. I was thinking about a movie where someone shoots and kills another person. I should get out my fake law degree and get to work on this one.

Here's a good look at the similarities between this screenplay and God of War.
 
honestly though something like god of war could be a good movie....if only they had asked sony ::)
 
All I have to say is WOW. That's it. The similarities were so general and broad that anyone who ever thought of anything from or about Greek mythology could say they thought of the game or the screen play.

I'm no lawyer,but I think the law is on Sony's side.Lots of other RPG's take names from Greek Mythology.Look at "Final Fantasy I" for the NES."Breath Of Fire III" uses
a couple as well.I'm not sure,but I think this will be a short case.
