Sony says no price cut on PS3 until better sales!

You sold it many months ago, and haven't played one since, right? You can't talk about anything beyond the time when you sold it, then.

No, my best friend has a Wii, and so does another close friend. I pretty much get to try all the new channels and games. :)

Out of my 360, Wii, and PS3; the Wii gets the least usage. And my kids, 7 yr olds, would much rather play the 360 and PS3 over the Wii. I think all 3 have good points (that is why I own all 3), but definitely in the past month or so my PS3 has had better games come out and is getting more usage!

Than the 360?

Darn it! If only Bungie had made a sequel to Halo 2, we wouldn't have this problem!

Oh wait...

:lol

But to be fair, not everyone likes Halo 3, but maybe they do like....um...Ratchet & Clank, or Uncharted, which would make the PS3 comparitively have better games than the the 360. It's all according to taste, really. :)

I like Halo 3, but beat it in like 4 hours on the first night. Halo 3, Bioshock, etc were being playing back in August and September, but lately I have been playing the PS3 because of the games for it. Hines, you cannot make the comparison unless you have all 3 systems!

Yeah, the 360 hasn't had many big exclusives since Halo 3, but all that's gonna change. *stares blissfully at Mass Effect*

Halo 3 wasn't that long ago, though. Seems way longer than it actually is. Besides, to many people, they didn't need anything past Halo 3. Least the developers didn't think that.

Yeah, the lack of 360 exclusives since Halo 3 came out is probably because developers were afraid Halo 3 would cannibalize their sales because many people would be content with just Halo 3 for a few months.

And it's true. Everyone will waste away with Halo 3 for a while, then get other stuff.

I thought it was funny though. I can't believe I didn't see this before. The price cut. The PS3 has already undergone a price cut of $100. :lol

Well, obviously, the announcement was made after the price cut.

And that's the funny part. :lol

I mean, you give a crumb, and people want the whole cookie. Geeze.

"$100 LESS ISN'T ENOUGH...OMFGGGGG SOOO MUCH MONEY!!! MAKE IT $2!!"

No, they just want a match. $350 is good for the 360, and it's got a bigger library and better online.

I'll stick with free online and any blutooth headset of my choosing. :)

Gamers today aren't looking at this rationally. You have to see what each system costs to make, and what each of them has inside.

But Blu-Ray is far too early. Even Sony knows it. They put it out so it can succeed in five years, and then last for another five.

It's not out too early. When competing with HD, it's definitely not out too early. And hey, you're looking at a 10 year cycle right there then. I agree with something Dart said before. If you want a system, save up for it.
