Super Mario Advance 2

Ares

Ares God Of War
I just found this game under my bed. I have never really played it much either. I started playing it and got to world 2. It seems pretty good. Its ranked a 9.4 on gamespot so I will see how I like it. Anyone have this game? If so how is it.

I've played it, it's a good port of Mario World. Collecting the Dino coins made this game a little more challenging and the ability to switch between Mario or Luigi whenever is a nice feature

You can choose Luigi on the world map by pressing R

If you finish the game once, you get a cool new intro with the princess riding on Yoshi

This is the only Super Mario Advance game I don't have, but I used to play it to death on the SNES. If you like this you should also check out Super Mario Advance 3: Yoshi's Island, it's the sequel to Mario World where you get to control Yoshi.

Im on this one level and I cant beat it. I think I just lost like 10 lives on it. :(

I was getting frustrated so I ended up trying to find funny ways to lose lives. After I finish my homework then Im going to play it a little more seriously. ;)

Oh thanks for the reply but I passed it. I guess I was just frustrated and wasnt concentrating. I went to soccer practice, got home and then beat it my first try. :D

aka Super Mario World, right? I have it, haven't beaten it though.

Actually, I haven't beaten that on the GBA yet or Yoshi's Island (though I beat that on the SNES).

I still need to go farther in Minish Cap and Final Fantasy II as well.

"I am the mustard of your doom!"

Heheh.

Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for the GBA has some of the funniest dialogue ever. I totally forgot about that. It's a pretty good game though.

Yeah from what I have played of it, it is pretty humorous. I got pretty far but sorta gave up on it. I didnt have time to play it and put it away. I might have to get it out soon.

Superstar Saga was definitely my fav of the mario RPGs. I actually didn't like Paper Mario that much...but man, I barely put my GBA down when I was playing Superstar Saga. I wish they'd make more games that are silly and fun and RPG-like. Well...I guess we got Minish Cap now too.

Im stuck on this one level. I can get to the boss but I keep losing. Im going to keep trying. Be back later.
