Team Advice(Pokemon Blue)

Now that's replay value. Anyways, sitting at Mt. Moon, with a Wartortle(16), Beedrill(12), and Pidgey(11). What else should I get? Zubat, for the hilariousness that is Golbat's old sprite? Geodude, for Golemosity? Ratatta, for...a rat?
 
geodude it's the most usefol rock/ground pokemon i hate having a team without him (or golem) its a must have in that version (or you might want onix)
 
Yeah, I went with Paras, Zubat, and Geodude. I only got Paras 'cause he looks funny in Blue, but he's got good attack.

it was a suggestion :lol. and i'm using onix in my diamond game, (just to make a little change in my team, but once i have enough badges i will transport my golem to this version)
but the thing i really hate of onix is his evolution, steelix, gosh i use rock/ground pokemon to defear fire pokemons, what's the point of evolving into steel?
 
Steel gets a few more STAB moves for Steelix, not to mention, Grass attacks don't hurt as much. But Blue is the most fun. No EV's to worry about, no natures to care for, plus, there's only one Special stat, so I can have my Bubblebeaming Marowak and it'll be good.

The thing is, Steelix can kick the crap out of anything but fire and water.

yeah i guess so, but in that case i'll need a water pokemon that can learn ice attacks (peliper is one and i kick the *** of a lot of people with that "weak thing")

If you're in Blue, get Seal and evolve it into a Dewgong.
 
Yeah, Lapras is pretty good. I'll have to wait a bit. Of course, Seel is even later than Lapras.
