Tekken 6 General Discussion

This is my favorite forum on the Citadel.
I've been a big fan of Tekken for a long time and I can't wait.

I can't wait to play the 2 new characters. Now that I know it's coming out in arcades,I'll probably be hunting it down. :lol I'll probably master this one like I did with Tekken 5 at the arcades. :lol
 
I just recently got Tekken 5 and I'm loving it. Tekken 4 really brought nothing new to the table after Tekken Tag and Tekken 3...
 
I'm more excited for Namco's other fighter - Soul Calibur 4. I never got III because I'd played II day and night and III apparently didn't bring much new to the table. Still, I do still enjoy the Tekken franchise, and this one should be quite good. Problem is, I have a feeling they'll incorporate some dodgy motion control, like they've been doing in a few other games. For me, it just ruins the immersion and it doesn't usually feel right to begin with.

Tekken 4 definitely had dodgy motion... very poor sidestepping control. I think that it is FAR better in tekken 5, while being more 3 dimensional than tekken tag or tekken 3...

Still, it's really difficult to sidestep an attack since the characters seem to track side-to-side motion VERY quickly.

It's Soulcalibur now, people. Soul Calibur=old. Soulcalibur=new.

Wow, I was thinking the same thing as the article before I even read it. The visuals remind me of...Tekken 5 for the PS2.

That's the cost for the whole bundle not just the stick.

Oh and to quickly add..Oct 27th is the console release. ^^
 
I really want this game. Tekken has to be my favorite fighting game ever. I love how they improved with the graphics. I will be picking this up for my 360.
